These cows are known for their marbling, which creates a rich, juicy cut of beef. Its higher mono-unsaturated fat to saturated fat ratio makes it a healthier alternative compared to other beefs. Wagyu is a Japanese breed. ‘Wa’ means Japanese and ‘Gyu’ means cow. They are horned and black or red in color and can grow to an average 1500 lbs.
